These spots were part of six entirely CG commercials that we designed and animated for Pinnacle Vodka, run between segments on three of Shaw Media’s main networks. Shaw’s in house creative team came to us with a simple brief looking to create a dynamic 15 sec spot that highlighted 3 different Pinnacle Vodka flavors in unique ways.

We created 3 unique environments and animations that each corresponded with a specific flavor of Pinnacle Vodka. Whipped Cream, Tropical Punch and Carnival. The animations for each flavor are dynamic and energetic, transitioning quickly from exaggerated wide shots to extreme close-ups.

The entire spot was created using 3D animation techniques. We modeled the Piannacle Vodka bottle precisely and then animated within a 3D environment. We then added specific abstract 3D accents to each scene (the whipped cream splashes, the orange spheres and the cotton candy-colored chevrons). We animated a 3D camera to whip quickly through each scene, allowing us to create camera movements and angles that would be nearly impossible in real life.
